fusion: (n) the process by which hip threads and low prices join together to form wicked hotness and fat wallets

mai, owner of one of my favorite stores, the fusion boutique sent me a link to her new blog, and it looks like she’s been a busy girl. she’s mixing it up a bit and buying up new inventory. she even ran into one of the designers from urban outfitters and is offering a couple of her pieces at a mere fraction of the price. the joy!

i adore this featured outfit…

less than $100! i have that dress in aqua and it’s SO sweet. now i need the wedges ($22.99).

and this minidress, too ($29.99)…

it makes me want to frolic. i really need to get down to some serious frolicking right about now. nothing a good frolicking can’t cure.

I’ve ordered from Fusion twice now–2 of my daughters picked a dress from her store recently, and Mai has been really helpful sending me actual measurements to choose the best sizes. She’s great to work with, highly recommended!

Okay, I must comment additionally on my latest purchase. Being rather impulsive, and desperate for warm weather, I was impressed by the piece on culottes and the amazing $19.99 price on Fusion’s kangaroo culottes. They just arrived and I am wearing them as I say, “Fabulous!” The fabric is lovely and the outfit has charming details. I ordered a Large, so it fits loosely and dresslike on me (I’m not quite so young and slim as our pretty twins) but I think it would be flattering if it were more form-fitting as well. I’m delighted! Great find, Mai! I plan to be cute and cool in them this July!
