need a comfy chic outfit you can wear to a music fest or an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet that won’t cramp your style? i still love the oversized trapeze/tent dress. so effortless! throw it on with a pair of tights and your sexiest flats or heels, et voila! instant 60′s hippie-glam-chic! that’s how i’d do it, but let’s see how they do it in other parts of the globe…
here it is in NY City:

Miami:

Berlin:

Barcelona:

adding a structured, cropped jacket or fitted vest is a great way to make the silhouette look less mumu-ish. so CUTE!
Buenos Aires:
a macrame sash! why didn’t i think of that?
Milan:

Paris:

in pink taffeta! love the rolled sleeves, genius!

zut alor! beautiful! i love the pattern and the cocoon shape!
Malmo:

Copenhagen:

Sigh…I love a good trapeze dress too however I’m attempting to ween myself off of them after a summer of excess. Still looking for the replacement!
I like to call this not a trapeze dress but a suspiciously pregnant-looking if you have breasts dress.
Love how it looks on others (especially the Parisienne! So pink!) but not on me.
I am constantly loving the look, but can’t seem to wear it in a way that flatters me. These girls look great…maybe I need to try again.
these dresses and the girls are so cute.
