i went shopping at this awesome store called red light in portland when i was there. they had this drop dead forgetaboutit summer sale rack. i went a-lookin for a sundress that i could easily translate to fall. here’s what i bought.
this ribbed bubble dress is the most comfortable thing i’ve ever worn! its the most gorgeous color of dove grey with a bit of shimmer in a sweatshirty material. i love the wide straps. got it on clearance for $12! the vintage gold link necklace was $4 and has these crazy ethnic beads between these sorta rusticy art deco gold links. the rope gladiators were a bit of a splurge (for me, i know i’m SO cheap!) at $30, but so worth it.
for fall, i’m planning to wear this dress with my new skinny leather bomber jacket, wooly coloured tights or leggings and these luscious mock-crock accent ruched boots which i just scored off eBay for a song…

I have practically the same exact pair that I wore the hell out of last fall/winter. I loved them so much I got a black pair too.
The best part, is that I got them from a Rainbow in the suburbs (of all places) for 15 bucks a pair!
