i’m pretty sure i’ve been a fan of Charlotte Gainsbourg since Jayne Eyre when she was nothing to me but an interesting face with the charming, quiet sadness of an orphaned fawn. Since then i’ve come to know her as not only the talented love child of Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin, but also a singer/actor with amazing personal style.
so i was completely ecstatic to find out that she’s been chosen to guest edit December’s issue of Vogue! Catherine Deneuve’s done it, Sofia Coppola, Kate Moss, and John Galliano too. to me, she seems like an obvious choice but i would have never expected it. i’m waiting with baited fingers for that issue! giggidy giggidy!
