I just talked to someone in Chicago who is buying $100 tickets to a fancy New Year's Eve party at some nice hotel. I guess that's one way to get to dress up for the holidays! Beauteous choices, Amber, I've been debating Mai's sunrise confection ever since I first saw it--now where can I buy some party tickets?

I never get invited to any "holiday parties" either, and I was just lamenting that fact the other day! I agree with Heather, I think it's another Madison Ave. invention to sell velvet dresses. Or I just don't have the right connections, which is totally possible. Either way, your picks rock, and now I'm even more bummed that I don't have any parties to attend.

Love the sequined dress! If I got invited to holiday parties I would totally wear it. I think this "holiday party" thing is actually a conspiracy.
