This is a crock of shit. You don’t change the rules of contest mid way through because you don’t like the results or you didn’t think ahead make certain rules!
Sorry about that, Jenell. We didn’t make the rules, and it was a bug in the DTLS software that allowed for cheating by entrants, so you’re right. Changing a contest’s rules shouldn’t be allowed, but is sometimes necessary in the name of fairness.
