check me out: mixed prints

I went thrifting today and looking into my bag, had the wacky inclination to wear two of the new acquisitions together. I swear I tried to put it out of my head but I think I might actually leave the house wearing this:

mixedprints2.jpg
brown/blue print sundress with lace inserts, thrifted: $2.99
khaki/orange print cardi with pockets (Isaac Mizrahi for Target), thrifted: $2.99
wooly leggings, some crappy mall store: $3
flat Nine West galoshes, Winners: $100 (years ago) and so worth it
woven leather bag, thrifted: $3

well… maybe not tonight, but soon.

Please, please, please wear it out! The patterns, though clashing, look really great together. And what a way to make orange and black look good! I always end up looking like I’m on the way to a football game at my old high school–we were the Tigers…

I’m in Ny too but I never found such great treasures.I guess I don’t have the “know how” on how to look for them.
