When I get dressed, if something looks too “pretty” I have this incessant, unreasonable need to uglify it a little. But his lovely lass is wearing the outfit-equivalent of an endless field of blooming irises. And I totally love it.
Ridiculously pretty!
Gorgeous outfit! Love the shape of the shirt and skirt and the colors are exquisite! I also know what you mean about uglifying your pretty outfit. That’s what I bought my gladiator sandals for
.
if you feel like copy-catting this lovely lady, there is a dress verrrry similar to this one at deborah jean vintage.
shameless, i know. but pretty deserves to be proliferated, yes?
loooove those flats, and the outfit is faboo from the frilly collar right down to the pointy toes. A word of adivce: resist! resist! Never uglify any beautiful outfit.
She looks adorable!
I have the exact same irrational need to uglify everything pretty I put on. Which is why I have a ludicrous collection of fugly (but fantastic) glasses. I would love to able to be unabashedly feminine and pretty one day. By the way, I’m new to the blogosphere and love what you do here! Just added you to my roll. ^^
ooooo….she looks fabulous <3 the look and that blouse is stunning….i want it!! ps. just came across your site and can not wait to read it all….. awesome work gals!! <3. xo
love the shoes and the burgundy skirt!!!and lovely blog as usual!
I love this outfit — I am also usually a little turned-off by things that seem too “pretty,” but this manages to be pretty without being prim or too cutesy!!
the color of that skirt puts me in a trance! i want to paint rooms in my house that color it’s so pretty!
Responding to Snowshoe’s comment.. “ludicrous collection of fugly (but fantastic) glasses”. I love to use the word fugulous to describe that fashion sense, and it’s one of my favorites.
