I’m not sure what it is I completely adore about this outfit. Perhaps its the fact that she’s pulling off an oversized double-breasted blazer worthy of David Letterman circa 1992? Or maybe its the unexpectedness of the cobalt tights and patent gladiator heels? Whatever it is, it’s a beautiful mess.

overtly masculine elements (buckle boots, black, blazer) plus overtly feminine elements (lace ascot dress, lace slip, costume jewelry, pleats…) equals hardcore WINNING.

If someone had said to me, “OMG, I saw this girl today, she looked so CUTE. She was wearing, like, these beige pinstriped pants that are 3 sizes too big and rolled up to the knee, a trompe l’eoil t-shirt with a striped scarf printed on it and then a floral scarf tied around her neck with a big bow in her hair…!” I would never have pictured this and the unabashed way she is pulling it all off.

Boy howdy. Vitamininmotion has it all. Piercing blue eyes, cute hair, amazing personal style, and – considering that most of the pieces (same blouse, shoes and reversible jacket) from these outfits were burgled from her mother’s closet – a mother who likely was the reincarnation Coco Chanel herself.
