I am instantaneous yearning for those cut-outs; its almost a maryjane or a t-bar combined with an ankle-hugging bootie which for me is shoe nirvana. So. Hot. But $695?? Really?? After fruitless attempts at googling a 95% off sale, I decided to search for some vague, yet cheap-as-a-street taco, look-alikes. Er… look-sorta-similars, anyway, ya can’t say i didn’t try.

Not quite as ankle-hugging as the Pollini and in more of a tan color, but cheap! and still totally delicious. Love the wee ties.

More of an oxford than an ankle boot (F21 describes it as a pump?), but still very cute.

Pretty straight-forward, but they’re on sale from Anthropologie so I assume they’re good quality and will go with everything.

Apparently a year ago I thought I must be crazy for liking these and described them as “bastardizations of nature, the incestuous, retarded lovechild of a bootie, a peeptoe and a double strap maryjane.”
Turns out I must be crazy, because well, they’re still on sale.
The Balmoral Peeptoes really look like they should come in gold sparkle! Perhaps they do?

i totally bought the brown buckle trim shooties (is that what they’re called?? haha) after seeing that first post. they are wayy too tall for me to wear often, but they’re my favorite heels. those apepazza shoes are hella cute!
