These two photos were right next to each other in the wardrobe_remix pool and I thought they both looked so lovely like they were going to the same garden party. Only the first girl is a stylish librarian with both feet on the ground and the second girl gives her taro readings and makes sure she crops her prim plaid dresses to an “I-know-exactly-how-to-have-fun-thank-you-very-much” length.

Speaking of advice, thank you all SO MUCH for your Painfully Hip Roadtrip contest entries and emails! Wow, you guys are SO helpful! Sweet, thoughtful, welcoming and RAD.

I have the most awesome readers ever – I feel like you all “get” me and would all qualify as best friend material even though we’ve never met… I feel honored.
It’s hard to explain… like if I was a weird piece of unidentifiable sashimi with tentacles, you would all be like, “It’s cool, I’m willing to bet she’s totally delicious.”

Ok, that didn’t make any sense, but nonetheless – I can’t wait to meet as many of you as possible.

Love love LOVE the second look

Too bad you aren’t going to Portland, I hear the vintage shopping there is amazing (40 shops on one street or something, so says singe Adele). I’m going in a week though so I will let you know first hand
