After a very busy weekend, we finally got a chance to play dress-up with Diana’s closet (since mine has now shrunk from “walk-in” to “portable”) and chisel out our favorite fall trends. This, as fellow Tucsonans know, is a hilarious feat in early September. The relaxed look on my face is a SHAM, it was 96 degrees and not a good day for boots and sweaters and hats. However, fun was had… and not just by our on-looking neighbors with the cooler of High Life.

AGH! I am a native Tucsonan (well, born in New Zealand, but lived in Tucson mostly all my life) and I was SO excited that you were moving there because then maybe I would be able to have a personal celebrity blogger sighting. BUT I am now up in Tempe for uni at ASU, and it makes me so sad to recognize all of the places that you’re at and not be able to go there. As a 16 year Tucson native, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve left the house dressed in boots, a beret, and jacket and have come home wearing about half the items I left with. Tucson has a way of teasing you with beautiful temperate weather worthy of fall fashion (my favorite) in the morning and then totally punks you with summer heat again by lunch.
