One of the first sections I ransack at thrift stores is the oft-overlooked lingerie section. Besides romantic escapism, lacy onesies and bustiers can also function as pretty camisoles when worn with a high-waisted skirt and shrunken blazer. A detailed nightgown can be easily shortened into a sweet mini dress or top.
Partially shot in the historic Hotel San Carlos, this PHDC shoot features vintage lingerie, chunky modern jewelry by Diana Deaver, fine, semi-precious jewelry by Laura Kepner-Adney of Wingflash Designs, and shoes from Marshalls and Ross. You can also spot my backless “Edie” dress by Sapphire Cordial.

Beautiful!
What a great idea and stunning photoshoot. I never check out the lingerie racks at vintage stores; I’ll have to change that. Thanks for the inspiration.

So awesome. My best friend inspires me by buying the corset type things in the lingerie section and wearing them as sweetheart neck tops under sheer things or by themselves when she’s feeling particularly sex kittenish. GREAT shoot!

Sexeh! I wish I am as slim as her…
I love the vintage aesthetic mixed with the modern twist on the lingerie, beautiful photos and styling!

These are gorgeous! I stayed at the San Carlos for our mini-honeymoon. Right next to the Mae West suite.
The lingerie is stunning and I love how you style it. These look like they could fit right in in W magazine.

GREAT
Great lingerie style choices. They look great on you, really. And the shoot is great, although the images may seem blurry and underexposed. It’s down to camera really, definitely worth repeating.
Very nice photo shot. I really like the first one. I think if I wore that my husband would probably pass out.LOL I really like the shoes as well.
